A child protection unit was completed in Ryttylä as a turnkey contract

Sievi Hyvinvointitilat undertook the construction of a 14-place child protection unit in Ryttylä, Hausjärvi, using the turnkey contract model.

The child protection unit was handed over in November 2023. The collaboration was efficient, and the project was completed on time. We received praise particularly for considering the wishes, the quality of the construction, and the smoothness of the collaboration.

A Community-Oriented Residential Unit

The facility is located in a fantastic area, where proximity to schools and services ensures a normal daily life for the unit’s residents.

Designed with Children and Youth in Mind

The construction took into account the wishes of today’s children and youth, especially in terms of spatial solutions. The unit includes a game room with reinforced wall structures to ensure that the sounds from the game room do not disturb other residents of the unit. Additionally, significant investment was made in the facility’s yard. The aim was to create both play and game areas to encourage communal activities beyond the walls.
